Bijan Masoumpanah is a master of several disciplines of visual and decorative arts. He has an impressive body of work including paintings, murals, sculpture, photography, and digital arts. The eco-awareness series of works using the image of earth from space in novel and thought provoking scenes, symbolizing the fragile environment on which we depend, is available on Bijan’s website in the form of many different products.
One of his latest and greatest achievements is the Old Indio mural for which he was commissioned in 2013. He completed it in summer of 2014 and it is located at Miles and Town Center in Indio, California.
He has a new public art project in the works for Desert Hot Springs as well, a stone wall rounding an intersection corner standing approximately six feet with relief carving throughout. This image shows a scale model Bijan has crafted, superimposed on a photo of a potential location for this piece. He is currently working on his proposal to the City of Desert Hot Springs for this project.
